Mexican communities live in a reality of fear and harm due to the harsh elements of their surroundings. Murder, drugs, and poverty is not an uncommon thing for children to be exposed to in Tijuana's cartel ridden streets. Two of the most major social issues that face Mexican communities today are crime and violence, and diabetes and obesity. The Bridge has partnered with some of the top experts in the sports fields from the U.S. and Mexico to bring peace, health, and sports programs to communities and individuals in Baja California. Working with private and public organizations throughout Mexico, we aim to collaborate with each other to develop programs and events to create a positive impact for those in need.
Providing services and support to the communities of Terrazas del Valle and La Presa in Tijuana, the Letics Sports Football Club gives an opportunity to help build a better life for the youth and their families. The club players are not only getting off the streets and avoiding the gang life, but they were being raised up by one of the best soccer clubs in Baja and beyond.
This club has given multiple players the opportunity to sign professional contracts and has inspired hope for the families we are serving. The club has 10 teams of girls and boys with over 200 players, many who end up signing professional contracts and given a future, and the club empowers them to not only follow their passion but to serve their communities beyond what could ever be expected.
Letics Sports Football Club is on a mission to provide services and support to the communities in Tijuana that allows an opportunity to help build a better life for the youth and their families.

BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE FOUNDATION
From peace projects to medical service brigades, the coaches and the young athletes of the Letics Sports Football Club have created a better life for themselves and their communities. They are providing support, housing, food, medical services, and an atmosphere for these kids to attend school, live in peace and safety, and excel in soccer.
Community Service and Promoting Peace
Players and their families feed those who are without homes and food in the streets of Tijuana. Players also provide home improvement services to community members. The club continually participates in graffiti removal in their neighborhoods.
Taking place over two days, the brigades help many community members with dental, vision, and health examinations and were provided with treatment and prescription medication if needed.
